| I am very Happy to announce our 7th Junior Olympian and the only female J4 racer ever to qualify for JO's in their first year as a J4 from HVST, ABIGAIL MURER! Abigail competed in the J4 Junior Olympic Qualifier in Marquette Michigan this weekend in Slalom, Giant Slalom, and Big G over 3 Days. The first day greeted us with single digit temperatures and 30-40mph winds with double digit wind chills. Abigail finished 11th, 13th, and 18th out of 40 girls in GS. The second day was in the single digits and sunny for Slalom, Abigail's least favorite and she finished with a 23rd, 15th, and 22nd with a tough field of Buck Hill girls who train 90% slalom and took 5 out of the top 10 spots. The third day brought snow and Abigails favorite, Big G for her best results of the week. She finished 15th, 15th, and 11th only .18 off of a Top 10 finish. She was the 5th fastest, first year J4 competitor. Congratulations Abigail! After all that hard work training, racing, and laughing Abigail was picked 16th out of a possible 30 girls going to Winter Park for the J4 Junior Olympics on March 17th-21st.
