Parents play an important role in creating a positive experience for every athlete. We ask all parents and guardians to:

• Support all athletes, coaches, officials, volunteers, and parents with respect and courtesy. 

• Model good sportsmanship at practices, competitions, and team events. 

• Encourage your athlete while allowing coaches to provide instruction. 

• Respect the decisions of coaches and officials. 

• Address concerns privately and respectfully with the appropriate coach or board member. 

• Refrain from coaching athletes from the sidelines during practices and competitions. 

• Help foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive team environment. 

• Volunteer and support team activities whenever possible.

• Support your athlete's commitment by encouraging punctuality, regular attendance, and preparedness for practices and competitions.

 

By following this Parent Code of Conduct, parents and guardians help create a respectful, supportive, and positive environment where every athlete can learn, grow, and enjoy the sport of skiing.

Participation on the Hidden Valley Ski Team is a privilege, not a right. Athletes and parents are expected to understand and abide by this Code of Conduct throughout the season.
